Hiiiiiiii!

 

My name is Courtney Walston and I am a semi-professional portrait/fine art photographer. Currently, I'm a Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist for #1 Properties here in Cheyenne, WY. I love both of my jobs so, SO much, as they allow me the creative freedom I've always craved since I was a kid.

 

Originally, I am from Peoria, AZ, but I moved to Cheyenne in 2008. I just say I am from Cheyenne at this point, since it's been 17 years. I graduated from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Communication in 2022.

 

On this site, you will find a portfolio of my strongest pieces, spread amongst my design work, portrait and fine art work and my journalistic pieces.

 

I started photography in 2014, and it's been a constant in my life ever since. I will never forget shooting and developing my first roll of 35mm film in my high school dark room. 11 years later and here I am! I love capturing moments, whether that be a wedding or a meteor shower.
